Tackling Environmental and Climate Injustice

Some of the largest cities are also some of the most polluted. Research shows that communities most impacted by the toxic effects of this pollution often have the least power to combat it—the very definition of environmental and climate injustice.

The IQAir Foundation is working to change this narrative. Through initiatives like Clean Air for Kids and Community Air Monitoring, we’re fighting for environmental justice by ensuring equal access to clean air—a basic human right for health, happiness, and success.

Clean Air for Kids

Our Clean Air for Kids initiative is the first step in a broader mission to deliver clean air to underserved communities worldwide. By focusing on classrooms and extending our reach to underrepresented groups, we strive to ensure that clean air is a right, not a privilege.

Through targeted air filtration and robust air quality monitoring, from the United States to Africa and Latin America, we are confronting the inequalities that disproportionately harm vulnerable communities.
